Loving Lady Gaga!

Just a quick post to say how much I’m loving the new Lady Gaga track, “Born this Way”. It took me a while to fall for her but “Bad Romance” totally won me over last year.

Not sure but I think she might be the first pop artist to include the word disabilities in a pop song;  sheer genius! Every little bit of positive acknowledgment in modern media is a good thing. I have to confess to really enjoying her use a wheelchair and crutches as performance props in “Paparazzi”, I love seeing mobility aids being used out of context. (And obviously any video that features the gorgeous Alexander Skarsgård is a winner in my eyes).

Gaga is an incredibly talented woman who makes no apologies for who she is and nor should any women, we should be celebrating our differences as strengths; as she says we were born to be brave.

Viva Lady Gaga!

Good shout. And anyone who can also get the word “lebanese” into the lyrics of a pop song (surely another first ?) is alright in my book too. I guess Gaga reaches out to everyone in her own unique way. Kudos 🙂
